The PSLE AL score is a fundamental part of Singapore's revamped Primary School Leaving Examination scoring system, designed to focus on individual performance rather than relative rankings. This system evaluates students using Achievement Levels (ALs) for each subject, ranging from AL1 (highest performance) to AL8. A student’s total PSLE AL score is the sum of their AL scores across four subjects, with a range from 4 (best) to 32. Lower total scores signify stronger overall performance, which plays a significant role in determining secondary school placements. Awinash Kumar |
