Maurice Lacroix launches two new Pontos S Diver watches

Launched in 2013, the Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver watch features a double crown and inner bezel design, recreating the style of classic dive watches from the 1960s and 1970s. Following last year's re-launch, this year the series has added two new models in black DLC stainless steel (model: PT6248-DLB00-330-2) and bronze (model: PT6248-BRZ01-330-3).

The new watch has a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 13 mm. The case is made of black DLC-coated sandblasted stainless steel or brushed bronze, equipped with an anti-glare sapphire crystal and a closed bottom cover, with excellent water resistance of 300 meters. There is a crown at 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock, respectively, for adjusting the inner bezel and winding the barrel.

The black DLC stainless steel model is paired with a black grained dial, decorated with white markings and embellished with yellow details. The bronze model also features a black grained dial with 4N gold PVD hands and hour markers, matching the case material and color. The hands and hour markers of both watches are coated with white and beige Super-LumiNova fluorescent materials, respectively, and a date window is provided at 6 o'clock.

The new watches are equipped with the ML115 automatic movement, which is improved from the Sellita SW200-1, contains 26 jewels, vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 times per hour (4 Hz), can provide 38 hours of power reserve, is durable and easy to maintain.

The black DLC stainless steel model comes with a black rubber strap with a sandblasted black DLC stainless steel pin buckle. The bronze model comes with a vintage brown leather strap with a bronze pin buckle. With the Easychange system, the chain strap can be easily replaced.
