I just finished Stroke Survival Against All Odds by Robert Castleberry, and I have to say, it’s one of the most insightful books I’ve read on stroke recovery. It’s not just for the stroke victim; it’s really geared toward the caregivers who are often left in the dark about what’s happening. Castleberry does an amazing job explaining the stages of recovery and the emotional toll it takes. Highly recommend it if you’re in a similar situation.
